1750 points, starting hopefully before 1. Usual format and prizes.

Maybe we'll see about having an apocalypse event the week before or the week after, providing it's something on a more normal scale-I like the 4-5K per side bracket personally.

Just a question for the tournament organizer.

What Ork codex will be in effect, the new one (released 10 days prior to the tourney) or the old one (released 10 years prior to the tourney)? Or can we mash both together, so that before every turn we roll a d6 and on a 4+ we use the new rules, 1-3 its the old ones?

We'll be using the new codex Dan, we've got the preview in the store now a full 2+ weeks in advance. A big hurrah for the editors of Codex: Orks, you've officially let blatant errors through.

We're going to look at a set of Apocolypse games the following sunday. Nothing special, wipe out the other side. More than likely a 2v2 affair, and for the more ambitious, 3v3.

We will be starting promptly @1pm, be present at 12 or prior so we can get started on time.

Yes Mike, its a Tourney, 1750 points.

I have seen most tournaments for Warhammer 40K run 1850 points. Do the 1750 point games play much faster or is it just to mix things up a bit so you don't have the same standard list everytime.

I will try and make it down with a Dark Angels Army.

Thanks

Roy

1750 was last years Grand Tournament number and many Rogue Traders adopted that value.

The number was picked mostly because I already have a Tau army written out at that point value, and I'm too lazy to write a new one.

Seriously, what Jester (Scott?) said.

We sign up in the morning/noon, right? Not ahead of time? I will be ready to play with minis and a list, but until I know the weather, I can't commit to skipping soccer.

Ok, just a bump reminder,

We're starting at 1pm prompt, be here at 12 for signup/preperation. There's going to be a 10$ entry fee that will include food.

Hope to see you all there,
-- Dave
