Over the next few months, a worldwide campaign will be running called the "Lucky 13s". We're going to be participating in the event with various activities ranging from objective marker construction sessions to the scheduled apocolypse matches.

First Apocolypse battle will be held on Febuary 9th, entitled
"If its Green, We can Kill it!"

Imperials V Orks

Keep an eye out at the store and on the forum for more details.

Saw the writeup at the store on Sunday. Looks like a blast! Can't wait.

Well thats the link to the GW homepage for the Lucky13's story. Im going to volunteer to build a kickass piece of Orky scenery for the mega battle, I was thinking of maybe one of those Force Rokits from the new datasheets they posted.

But anyway, is the BrothersGrim going to hosting all the events that coinside with the Campaign, such as the story writing contest, painting contests, and the scenerry demos? Cuase if they are I wouldnt mind volunteering to be the stores Campion Scenery builder and helping to run that event.

And mark my IG down for the battle, One Warhound and a baneblade coming right up.

We'll be looking to start around our usual time of 1pm for the megabattle. So usual deal there, show at 12 so we can get everything organized and on its way. Instead of one massive battle, we'll be doing multiple battles with similar scenarios to make life a bit more manageable. It'll be 2v2 for most of the games, and those that are more ambitious, 3v3. Each person should write up 2000 pts using the apocolypse format for the event prior to arriving.

I'll be talking it over with the greater powers about what events we'll be running as well. We'll make sure there's at least 13 events.

And with that teaser, more details to come!

Think we should make one rule as far as "using the apocalypse format"?

One needs to use the Force Org chart for building their army, with the exception of Datasheet formations, which count as its own valid "force org chart".

Maybe we should sit down Wed night and work something out, so that it is clear to everyone and we can post it up here if thats good by Dave, and the powers that be.

Sounds great to me, I'm up for a pre-shenannigans shenannigans to get this going in the right direction. Wednesday would be fine for me, its whether its good for everyone else or not.

Dicarlo, I agree with you there. We'll be using one force org not including the models used for formations or legendary units.
