Unfortunatley due to some remodeling in the store, we're postponing the first Lucky 13's Megabattle by a week.

We will be starting at noon on 2/16/08. Participants will be registered upon arrival.

The mission for the day will be "If Its Green, We Can Kill It." You can veiw it on the Games Workshop website here.
http://us.games-workshop.com/Lucky13s/downloads.htm

Each game will be 2v2, and will need to be viable allies according to apocolypse rules. Each participant is required to have a 2000pt army list written following the standard force organization chart. On top of that, there will be the allowance of one legendary unit or formation per player.

Hope to see everyone there!

Store Name: Brothers Grim Games
Scenario Played: If Its Green, We Can Kill It!
Overall Result: Imperial Victory
Number of Players: 14
Number of Points used: 28000 (2000pts Per Player)

Climactic Point(s):

Game One, 3v3: Eldar, Dark Angels, Tau VS Nightlords, Chaos Undivided, Tau (Farsight's Enclave)
The Venerable Warhound Titan, far off on the battlefeild succumbed to enemy heavy weapons, causing an apocolyptic explosion that destroyed over two feet of a twelve foot table alone. The shockwave caused the last structure point of an allied Eldar Scorpion to crash and explode on its own. That one turn caused the tide to turn from a sure victory to a Draw for the Imperium and its allies (2-2).

Game Two, 2v2: Imperial Guard, Imperial Guard VS Orks, Orks
The Green Tide swept away the brave guardsmen that held strong. However, their lives were not lost in vain as the Baneblade of the Cassare Regiment smashed apart the tightly packed orks. The Imperial Guard, battered and bruised, claimed victory at the end of the battle (4-2)

Game Three, 2v2: Space Marine (DIY Chapter), Ultramarines 5th Company VS Necrons, Chaos Undivided
A hard fought battle, but little noteable accomplishment. The marines held fast and won the day (3-1).

Commander Most Instrumental in the Result:
Each game possessed at least one commander that deserves mention. In game one, the surprise assault from the Loyalist Tau forces under the command of Konrad GrossmanArmored Interdiction force quieted the radical Farsight's heavy guns, turning the game seemingly towards the favor of the allied forces. In game two, the crushing green tide of Warboss Stephen Greene nearly wiped the valiant Imperial Regiments of Cassare and the 101st Left Behind. In game three, the Crypt Lord Robert Lovizio stood against all odds seeing that his monolith had yet to activate, but fell to the guns of Force Commander Mike Dipresso of the Ultramarines 5th Company.
