Yeah no it doesn't as people really don't care about that game in a 40K thread. The infinity thread? Eh who knows.[/quote]
Just making a comparison between a company that does it right and one that seems to do it all wrong. I guess I'm still burned by my disappointment over the Grey Knight codex and while GW has had a decent record with WFB army books being balanced, the 40k ones have been wonky. So I'm thinking Necrons will be wonky too, one way or the other (the Tyranid road or the Space Wolf road).
I guess I'm also not a fan of these open vehicles where everyone is rowing. If I was a Necron player, I wouldn't want to have to glue 20 rowers into my model. Some of the infantry look cool, but the poses are very static and repetitive like on the Death Marks and Immortals. I think the Death Marks would be pretty cool minis if they had a wider variety of poses. Most of the character models also seem to be stuck in static poses with only one of the overlords doing something truly dramatic and interesting with his pose.
With all that said, I will probably buy a box of Death Marks and give them better poses assuming they don't end up being finecast. If I did Necrons, I'd want every infantry model in my army to look like that.
