Moblot (Rifle) (HMG lost due to not enough SWC *shakes fist*)

The tried and true "ooh, shiny!" methodology of army selection will not fail! VIVA IMPULSE BUYING!

Wish I could have more HMGs.

Chris, I'm not allowed to make, say one of the Tank hunter autocannons or zouave HMG a lieutenant, correct? Has to be the actual lieutenant selection, and, sadly, pay the SWC cost for him, yes?

That's right, it has to be the weapon loadout listed under the lieutenant entry.

You can take Van Zant as Lieutenant and he gives you an extra +1 SWC, if that helps at all.

That... does, actually. I can drop the Loup-Garou and the Tank Hunter LT. for Zant, and turn the Moblot into a HMG. But now, more tragically, I have .5 SWC that hasn't been spent! Don't have enough points to make him a Sapper (which would also use the SWC).

This list looks pretty tight. Only thing I don't like is the SAS with a chain rifle. The model looks awesome, but chain rifles kind of suck.

Yes, the model's awesome, so your point is invalid.
Good day, SIR.

With Van Zant, I lose the Loup-Garou and the tank hunter lieutenant, but the Moblot regains his HMG. The only issue with this is I lose an awesome model (Loup-Garou sniper guy) to get a meh model (Van Zant), although it makes the list, I think, a fair bit better -- everyone has a support weapon, and those who don't are SAS bad-asses who'll gut you from close range... and Van Zant, who I'm sure will do something.

Also, rules questions. I got these models because I thought they were cool, much of the reasoning is the prone positions, sand bags, etc. -- how does this translate to true Line of Sight? Are they actually in this lower position or do I need a "standby" standing model of some type to have his actual location handy to identify who can see him and what he can see?

LoF is supposed to work as if the model is standing in a "normal" pose. It can make for some confusing LoF moments during the game, but is easily remedied by putting a "normally" posed model in place of the lying down one to check LoF.

My brother's been eying Pan Oceania, here's some (again, "ooh, shiny") lists he's thought of. The obvious issue with these is lack of orders.

Not sure these lists are very doable because order counts that low are extremely hard to deal with. Pan O has that disadvantage where they don't have the same access to mega cheap order monkeys in the same way other armies do. I would probably drop one or two of the expensive models and add as many grunts as possible or you'll be so order starved it will be almost a one sided game.

Kind of cool your brother is interested in playing. Be great to have some games with the two of you guys...

And for the other list, you are using a sectorial so put a linked team in there. Missile Launchers are much better in a linked team for the B-2. Give the Swiss Guard an HMG instead. Also a Deva Hacker WIP-15 is too good to pass up:

Chris' suggestions are spot on. There's no reason to use a sectorial list without making a linked team. A burst 2 missile launcher is also kind of scary...

I dont know the rules but did like the ninja models and bikes on the Infinity site.
