I've never played in a FNM before, and had some questions. Do you host it every week? How many people show up? There was a post where someone mentioned not having enough players one week, so it was canceled. Do they usually run constructed or sealed decks? If I don't have a DCI number, can you assign me one?

And if there's any tips I should know that I forgot to ask let me know. I'd probably be bringing one friend with me, possibly more but probably just two, if that helps you answer if we'd have enough people to do the tournament. Thanks!

P.S. What does it cost to register for a constructed/sealed tournament?

I've been to 2 fnms there, but both were canceled cuz there weren't 8 people (that's how many are needed.) now, this could also be due to the fact that 2 times i went, a prerelease was happening the next day >.< so that could just be my bad.

sealed is normally $20, draft $15, and constructed $5...i'm not sure on the local store's prices, but that's what's normal for everywhere i've played.

Most places that host fnms can provide you with a DCI number if you don't already have one.

I have been to... idk like 4 or 5 FNM and there has always been like 20+ people there. and it was 11$ for draft, and 22$ for sealed. although durring a release party for zendikar it was 23$, lol like it matters
