Muster: 10am
First Dice: 11am
Points: 1575
Late War
All books and official PDFs are legal, except for Soviet lists from Festung Europa and Fortress Europe as per the FoW FAQ.

Missions will be rolled randomly before each round, with one Fair Fight, one Mobile Battle and one Defensive Battle mission. Keep in mind what kind of company you're running, what missions you attack and defend on, and plan accordingly! All armies have access to 'Always Attacks' companies now, so I don't want to hear you crying because your tank company lost due to having to defend against a Shtraf Battalion! Or, for that matter, that you couldn't punch through a fortified company with your all tank list. Balance good. One trick pony bad. Brazilians with guns hilarious.

The new Late War Nationals point value is 1575. I think it's stupid too. On the other hand, it makes my Normandy Assault Division even nastier, because I can fit in all the murdering stuff and don't have any of the things that die easily anymore. *shrug*

Yeah Chris sent me the late war rules... It's really going to weaken my tank company. Might do armored company instead at that point level.

This points level is going to "weaken" your Tank Company so you're going to play a Tank Company instead? ...am I missing something here?

Unless of course you mean armored infantry, in which case you're going from cheap tanks to expensive infantry? That's better when "restricted" points wise?

Or you can just deal with not EVERY platoon getting a Jumbo/2 easy 8s or just less platoons. Also, before you start, yes you can do the new Tank Company as veterans and still be competitive.

Jaaaaaaaacksoooooooooons.

JAAAAAAACKSOOOOOOOONS.

We have them in stock! (*wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*)

No, I don't think they'll be instant wins, I just want to see someone field Jacksons*.

*Only 25% of that reason is that we'll sell Jacksons. Buy Jacksons.

I already have four Jacksons and I'm not sure they're the answer.

My tank company has a bunch of armored infantry platoons and I was just thinking that I might be better off doing an armored infantry company with tanks as opposed to a tank company with infantry at that point level. I'll have to see how it works out on Easy Army.

The Brazilian list is, in fact, freaking hilarious.

You should have some TDs with the army already, so you should be fine. A unit of 76s and some M10/M18 should be more than enough if you use Blood, Guts & Glory since they have AT 13. Ironically the one book we get Jacksons is the one book where honestly we don't really need them since they shored up our biggest weakness (that being our tank destroyers aren't really that good at taking out the tanks we need them to)

The tournament was a lot of fun. Well in some cases funny like 4 Shermans all bogging down together. :) Thanks for running it.

Wish I was there...

... my consolation prize was lots of Glen Livet 12 at the wedding's open bar. The bar tenders poured them like they were lemonade...
