Okay guys: No surprises. You know what scenarios are coming.

Current Steamroller Rules are here: http://privateerpress.com/files/SR2012_Rules_V1.3.pdf

I'll be down a lot this next month. Consider this time practice for the melee to come.

Timed turns I have no problem on but actual scenario play, man who cares about that? I just want to put heads on pikes.

edit: Deathclock timed or 7minute turn time?

Timed Turns. I want to to save Deathclock for the next tournament (which will be Mangeled Metal).

And scenarios are fun! I'll bring a few with me Thursday to try out.

And for those who haven't read the packet because they figure read the scenario when they get it. Bring 7pts worth of extra models to use as reinforcements. Some of these scenarios have it.

Ahhh, that sucks! This won't be the last tourney, so just make sure not to have any life-changing events come up for the next one!

hi,

I'd like to come for this but I have something later that day in the evening. What time do you figure the event will be over?

I'm guessing about 6 hours from start time or is that about right or will it be more?

Each round will be 70mins plus or minus the extension time (3minuets). So at four rounds, yes, we'd hopefully be wrapping up around 5pm.

What are the basic rules regarding characters now? Can I use a character or character unit in more than one game?

Standard character restrictions apply. That is to say, you can use a character as a choice in one of your two lists. E.G. If you use Alexia and the Risen in List A you can not use the unit in List B. You would, however, be able to use Epic Alexia, Mistress of the Witchfire in list B.

Ok.so if I bring only one list then no worries. If I bring a second then I have to avoid redundancy.

Will there be more tournaments like this in the near future? I've been crazy at work and missed this one.

In August there should be a Meat and Metal tournament, Caster and Warbeasts/Jacks only. Not sure when but probably sometime near the end of the month.

More like early September, but yeah. Next tournament will be Mangled Metal / Tooth and Claw. Looking at 25 points casual time limit with some not-so standard scenarios.
