Once my army is built, I'd like a game. I will be my first, however, my friend and I are just getting into War of the Ring. I have the little rulebook for Lord of the Rings Strategy game, too, and will look it over.

As for it being better than Malifaux, well, I think you just opened a can . . .

Well good to hear lord. I'm still working on my Rangers of the North Army.. Me and Chris are working on Terrain as well. Its taking longer the expected but I think it will ketch on. I woun't be a bit suprised to see a bunch of players soon..

Ahhh the can of worms, Yes prehaps.. I'm just saying it will b a fly by nigt game like all the others. I may b a bit narrow minded, but I have seen alot of table top games come and go and yet GW remains.. pretty soon i gues in about 6mo or so every one will have forgotten maliflux (sp?) I mean its hard to compeat with female models that carry an umbrella..lmfao.. I'll post more when we start demo days

I don't understand the "can of worms" thing. I mean you open a can of worms and they wiggle around and its kind of gross but over all not that bad. I think the phrase should be changed to "opened up a can of bees." I mean you open a can of bees and you now have a far bigger problems than the worms could ever give you.

I guess I should have completed the sentence . . . What I meant was "can of Whupass". To further explain, Malifaux (I agree the name is whacky) was spoken of in a less than positive light, therefore, Larry, Dennis, and Tim (the only folks I see playing the game nowadays) will come down on you like a hot chick with an umbrella, or bees out of an opened can

I'm ready for a demo game of War of the Ring whenever you are interested. I can be at the store most nights after 8:00 pm. Hope this isn't too late for you. I will be playing Kingdom of Rohan, and I have some terrain as well.

It may only be 3 people playing Malifaux at the moment, but its more people than LotR. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen anyone playing it at the shop. No offense Phil, this is directed at the Malifaux haters. There is no reason to trash games you don't play. If you don't like the game, then don't play it.
